We had a really nice “About Us” page on our old website. At least I thought it was really nice.

Before we revamped this site, I decided to read what other agencies were saying about themselves in their “About Us” sections. I wanted to get some new ideas.

That’s when I figured out that we're all saying pretty much the same thing.

And for some reason, we’re all under the impression that these things make us stand out from the crowd.

But they don’t. In fact, we all start looking the same.

So, what makes the Palffy Insurance Group so special? What makes us different from all the other agencies out there? Why should you choose us?

To begin with, we’re a true independent agency. I know, you've heard that before. There are plenty of independent agents out there. The difference is that we represent a lot of insurance companies, not just a handful of companies.

Since we work with so many carriers, we have access to a multitude of plans. We can legitimately offer you a wide variety of options… some at very low prices.

And we take it a step further. If we find the right policy for you and it’s from a company that we don’t represent, we’ll either sign a contract with that company (so we can offer you that plan) or we’ll have one of our partners get the policy for you.

You heard that right: we shop everyone for you, including the competition. We’ll make sure you get the protection that’s right for you.

As an independent agency, we're not tied to one company and we don't play favorites. It doesn’t matter to us which company or which plan you choose. What matters is that you get the coverage that fits your situation perfectly.

A lot of agencies will tell you, “Since we’re independent, we represent your interests and not the interests of the insurance company.” Hold on. Not so fast. We don’t claim to do this at all. You see, we do represent your interests. But, as field underwriters, we also have a responsibility to the insurance company. It’s not one or the other. We do what’s right for all parties involved.

Having access to so many different companies and plans gives us the ability to mix and match different products from different companies in order to tailor your coverage to fit your situation the best. Think about how powerful this is. You could have a health plan from one company, a gap plan from a different company, a dental plan from another company, and a life insurance plan from yet another company.

Each plan is the right fit for you and together, they offer you the best protection for your situation at the lowest price possible. How awesome is that? You can’t achieve something like this if you don’t have access to carriers that we have and the expertise to put it all together.

I believe Zig Ziglar is 100% correct. Yes, I know, we’re in business to earn a living. We wouldn’t do this as our profession if we didn’t get paid for it.

But, when agents focus on earning a living, all they get is a paycheck.

When we focus on getting people what they want, and stop focusing on profits, awesome things happen for everyone involved. We truly believe this and it's how we run our business.

You don’t buy insurance because it's a great deal or because everyone else has it. You buy insurance to get the things you want and need, like financial protection and peace of mind.

Our goal isn’t to sell you a bunch of insurance policies and make a ton of commissions. Our goal is to get you the insurance coverage you want and need at a price you can easily afford.

Have you ever had an insurance agent try to sell you a policy because he “knew" it was just perfect for you?

  • “Let me show you how awesome this is!”
  • “This policy has a double-indemnity provision with living benefits and cash value. It’s just what you need!”

The problem is, this agent never asked you what you wanted, he didn’t find out what you need, and he didn't talk to you about your budget. The guy was telling you what was best for you without even knowing you or your situation. To top it off, he only had that one policy to show you!

He was trying to fit you into his policy instead of finding a policy that fit you.

We don’t operate that way. We take a much different approach. We ask questions and we actually listen to what you say. We find out what you what you really want. We discuss your goals. We take the time to learn about your needs. We look at the problems you're facing and pay attention to the things that you worry about. We consider your feelings. And, of course, we always watch your budget.
